Dalton is an interdisciplinary artist, musician and surfer, living and working in Montauk. He plays guitar and percussion, sometimes at the same time. He plays instrumental music that draws on all his roots and influences, ranging from the blues to Middle Eastern and Brazilian music.
Maximus Vanderbeek was given his first conga drum when he was 16 and has a life-long passion for percussion, keyboard, and performing. He earned his Doctorate in World Percussion from the Univ of Maryland (2000) and studied the: congas, djimbe, drumset, frame drums, tablas, and keyboard percussion.
