Born and raised on Long Island, New York, Athena Marie had humble beginnings. Brought up by a single mother, Athena was always supported by her family to pursue her dream and passion for performing. With her mother and sister by her side, by the age of 17 Athena Marie had performed at Carnegie Hall for 3 consecutive years alongside a world renowned choir, been accepted to the prestigious Frost School of Music singer-songwriting program, was the first high schooler to perform in a production of Cosí Fan Tutte with OPERA America along with graduate students from the Manhattan School of Music and performed at the Montauk Music Festival in front of hundreds of audience members.

Now, at 21 years old, Athena Marie has taken her journey of self-discovery and transformed it into “hauntingly soothing” melodies and poetic lyricism. Inspired by her own personal experiences of growing up secluded, Athena creates music that panders to an audience who strive to settle into their own skin and the world around them. With a sound comparable to Billie Eilish and Phoebe Bridgers, Athena Marie’s melodies and expression lures listeners into the raw emotion of her voice and lyrics.
