After spending some years playing in bands in similar circles around the east end of Long Island, Chris was called to fill in for a gig at the Sloppy Tuna in Montauk because a band had to drop out. Not having a band at the time he called a couple of friends to come jam with him and cover the show. This was the inception of Yoga Pants. The band continued to play out at bars, breweries, wineries, and showcases across Long Island developing a Reggae/Beach Rock sound. Slowly starting to interject their own original songs into cover gigs. With the focus eventually shifting to writing and recording original tunes. Yoga Pants dropped 2 singles and a music video in 2025 and is gearing up to release more music this year!
