Based out of Lindenhurst, Long Island, NY, The Word and The Whisper has been playing for close to over 8 years, undergoing various lineups through the years, most recently composed of Mike (rhythm guitar, lead vocals), Christian (Vocals), Brendan (bass), Joey (lead guitar, vocals) and Herbert (drums, vocals). Featuring a wide range of rock subgenres, The Word and The Whisper prides itself on writing original music that's layered, dynamic, and carefully crafted to all audiences. Ranging from punk rock to more aggressive alternative, the band features Mike's gritty voice with catchy guitar riffs and fast, edgy punk sounds. With an impressive resume of playing over 100 shows, thousands of streams, several music videos and three recorded EP's, The Word and The Whisper is engaging, powerful and a highlight of the Long Island rock scene. The band constantly seeks to book new shows, network with other local bands and elevate their music content with a full length album in 2025 featuring all new music.
