Rucosmic is a NYC-based Japanese singer-songwriter known for her genre-blending sound. She regularly performs at several well-known New York City venues, including The Bitter End and The Red Pavilion. Rucosmic will also be attending the Montauk Music Festival for the first time with her own band this year.

Rucosmic was born in Sapporo, Japan and rased on music. In 2010 she moved to New York City where she began gigging at famous venue such as the Bitter End, Flushing town hall, The Red Pavilion along with other independent venues around NYC with multiple bands and projects. In 2016 and 2017 her band performed in the New York Asian Festival at Lincoln Center which was featured in an article in the New York Times.
