Based out of Montauk, NY, "The Kind" is a 5-piece, surf-rock band led by Kevin Angiulo. Gathering influences from Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix, Jack Johnson, and the RHCP, "The Kind" blends chill acoustic grooves with wavy guitar riffs while funky bass and drums match with lyrics and melodies inspired by lots of time spent in the ocean. "The Kind" has performed with many artists such as Julian Marley, Matisyahu, Sublime with Rome, Wyclef Jean and others and will be releasing their debut EP this May.
