Julia Raye is an NYC-based singer-songwriter blending soulful pop, modern R&B, and emotionally rich storytelling. Born and raised on Long Island, she grew up performing onstage, starring in local theatre productions, and studying classical voice.  Julia went on to earn a degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Michigan, where she trained under Grammy Award winner and Metropolitan Opera alumnus George Shirley

Drawing on her classical foundation, Julia writes and releases original music that merges contemporary R&B and pop with vocal depth. Her recent singles, including “Expectations” and “Wish You Stayed,” showcase contemporary production with the vocal depth of her classical training. Performing regularly throughout New York City and Long Island with her band or in acoustic settings, Julia brings a dynamic stage presence and a sound that resonates across genres. Julia continues to build momentum in the Long Island NYC music scene.
