Ape Theory is an original band based out of Huntington, Long Island. Our sound blends progressive rock with influences from legends like Carlos Santana and The Allman Brothers. Our unique sound is complemented by a lively mix of funky covers that get the crowd moving and create an unforgettable experience. Our members consist of David Diprimo on lead vocals and guitar, Adam Sklar on lead guitar, Johnny Sax on saxophone, Adam Baine on bass, Danny Roman on drums, and Patrick Lehosky percussion.

Over the past two years, we’ve had the privilege of performing at a variety of venues and festivals across Long Island, building a strong local following while refining a sound that resonates with diverse audiences. We released our first EP, King, on all streaming platforms, showcasing a collective blend of rock, funk, and soul. In addition to the EP, several singles are also available for listening on these platforms.
