“If you think you know what a country artist sounds like, she’s here to prove you wrong,” said writer Jason Barnard of Juliette Stewart. Storytelling lies at the heart of NYC native Juliette’s world. Her collection of experiences and encounters has lent depth and timelessness to her lyrics, and gravity to her powerful and nuanced voice.
Juliette has performed in staple American music venues across the country such as The House of Blues and Rockwood Music Hall to major houses such as Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Rooftop at Pier 17, Bonsecours Wellness Arena, Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and Radio City Music Hall as well as around the world in the United Kingdom and Europe. Her music has been described as “dramatic and “heartfelt” with “hearty vocal tones,” from publications such as Adobe and Teardrops and AmericanaHighways.com. Juliette’s work has also appeared in media publications such as the Musically Speaking Podcast (Unlicensed Philosophy), and Voices of America News. Her music has been featured on popular playlists such as Twangville, Rainbow Rodeo Magazine, Best New Country Artists 2024 (Reed Kirkwood), and AmericanaHighway.org’s New Americana Music You May Never Have Heard.
Juliette has most recently participated in festivals such as Tucscon Folk Festival, Pensacola Beach Songwriters Festival, Sag Harbor American Music Festival, Meadowlark Music Festival, Urban Country Jam Festival, RiverArts Music Festival, NOLA’s Cutting Edge Music Festival and at events such as Nashville/NYC’s all female round Song Suffragettes. She also recently collaborated with country singer Nikki Lane appearing on national and international headlining tours and at festivals such as Stagecoach Country Music Festival, the inaugural year of Country Calling Music Festival in Ocean City, Maryland and as part of the Surf Lodge Summer Concert Series in Montauk, NY as well as opening on tour for artists including Chris Stapleton and Sierra Ferrell in arenas and amphitheatres around the country.
Her debut single “Shame On You,” was recorded in Nashville,TN with touring band “Chicago” and band leader Eli Beaird, ACM bass player of the year nominee, and has caught interest of industry top-liners turned collaborators such as Thom Panunzio (credits: Interscope Records, Stevie Nicks, John Lennon, Bruce Springsteen).
