Derek Adam is an upcoming NY rock artist that brings his own blend of guitar driven rock, sprinkled with country & progressive influences. His songs are full of hooks and heartfelt lyrics that tell the story of his journey

After graduating from Crane School of Music, Derek followed his dreams and moved to the NYC area. He released his debut EP in early 2022, recorded with Grammy winning producer, James "Jimmy T" Meslin, of Dream Theater notoriety. Since this release, Derek has released a stream of singles and has had the privilege of working with several notable local writers and producers including Richie Cannata from Cove City Studio and Doug Grama at Westfall Recording Co.

Derek is also a staple on the NYC live music scene with regular performances throughout the area at such venues as The Paramount, The Stephen Talkhouse, The Cutting Room, Spotlight@Paramount and My Father's Place.
