The 14th Annual Montauk Music Festival

Opening Party on Thursday May 15^th at the Westlake Fish House

Enjoy an evening of music, appetizers, cocktails, and dancing. Twenty of the Festival Bands will do a sneak preview of their weekend shows- on three stages: inside and out under the tent.

Tickets- $60- includes appetizers and free sponsor drinks along with over four hours of live music.

Over 400 performances beginning Friday afternoon and running through Sunday evening- there will be shows throughout Montauk showcasing 100 acts at about 40 satellite venues.

On Saturday and Sunday- May 17^th and 18^th

The MAIN STAGES will once again be on the Green in the center of town.

Bring a Beach Chair and/or Blanket- friends and family-and be ready for 2-days of entertainment. No coolers or outside alcohol. Beer/Wine/Soda, and fun at the sponsor tent available during the event.

There will be an admission/donation fee [$20 for 2-day pass], and children under 5 are free- this will allow you entrance for both Saturday and Sunday’s shows 11am- to 5 or 6pm. {Cash or VENMO only}

May 2023 Performers

No Sailor

No Sailor is American singer-songwriter Kieran Garvey and his five-piece folk band. Their fun and classical approach to folk has been described as "heartwarming and authentic” and "destined for the stages of Newport Folk Festival.” Their captivating live show has earned them comparisons to The Head And The Heart, and The Lumineers. Garvey’s earnest songwriting, paired with a semi-classical band, has a profound way of playing on your heart strings. From the exuberance of ‘Rock, Paper, Scissors,’ to the melancholic strings on ‘Wedding Cake,’ their songs arc from euphoric folk rock to confessional orchestral ballads.

Craig Greenberg

"Craig Greenberg has been hailed as NYC’s most acclaimed post-millennial piano man. Over the past 15+ years, the native New Yorker has been a staple on the city’s music scene, capturing and building on the spirited ivory traditions of greats like Billy Joel, Ben Folds and Randy Newman with sparkling, soulful new musical twists, a larger than life personality and his insightful, dramatic sense of storytelling. Craig has independently released 5 albums (his most recent EP, Between the Sea and the Sky, released in Dec 2022), with new releases slated for 2025. He has performed upwards of 1000 shows, since his start playing in bars while living in Chile, and later Spain, in the early 2000s. His songs have received praise in American Songwriter, the Huffington Post, Relix Magazine, and have been played on radio stations all around the country and internationally (as well as locally on WFUV)."

Saving Escape

Saving Escape blends vintage rhythm with a voice of grit and soul that will punch you in the face. From humble beginnings as a blues rock band, Saving Escape has managed to create a melting pot of their favorite genres to create a sound entirely unique yet timeless.

Nebulus

"Nebulus www.nebulusnyc.com Nebulus, is an original NYC hard rock party band.A four piece band of fiery musicianship. The band consists of Steph Linn on lead vocals,Jack Macco guitar,Carl Gibson on Bass and Patric Valentine on Drums.With a heavy guitar sound they possess a hard rock and heavy metal approach,with a pop sensibility and influences of electronic dance music & rock & roll."

Donald Bikoff

Guitarist Don Bikoff, a contemporary of John Fahey and Robbie Basho, drew from the same influences in American music, also adding Eastern scales. In the late 1960's, his lone LP, "Celestial Explosion" was released, and sits comfortably among the great guitar soli records.

Tigris

Tigres, the electrifying band hailing from Long Island NY, ignites stages with their funky and fresh sound. With a seamless fusion of genres, their music transcends boundaries, leaving audiences mesmerized by their magnetic performances. From pulsating beats to soul- stirring melodies, Tigres' artistry captivates the hearts of listeners, infusing energy and groove into every note they play. With a unique chemistry among the members, their onstage synergy is palpable, creating an unforgettable live experience.
