Elliott & Monica
Once upon a time – well actually 30 years ago – a man and a woman met. On the 6 train in the Bronx, as a matter of fact. He’s a songwriter and musician for more than five decades, and importantly City Island’s Starving Artist’s owner and proprietor for two decades plus one this year. She’s a writer and communications director for the Pope and his missions – for 30 years plus one. Together, they are Sonny and Cher meets Burns and Allen, even some Hermione Gingold and Maurice Chevalier. Together, Elliott and Monica Glick sing some of their story – in Elliott’s originals from his CD (“Once Upon A Time”) and in songs that bring them together, in the lasting love of an enduring friendship that is the basis for any relationship.
